Kliro Capital Partners Is Founded as a Family Office Investment Company
Kliro Capital Partners has been founded as a family office investment company, managing the family portfolio’s long-term investment strategy, asset allocation and investment performance.
The name comes from the Greek klironomia (κληρονομιά), meaning inheritance or legacy. Kliro is a first-generation family office, and its mission is to build something with a long-lasting legacy.
Investing Its Own Capital
As a family office, Kliro manages its own investments. This allows it to take a more innovative approach: investing directly into private companies and working with management to drive strong investment returns over the long term.
Two Areas of Activity
- Direct investment. Kliro Capital Private Equity (KCPE) focuses on investing in private companies, primarily in the consumer sector within the UK. The target companies typically have an enterprise value of £10–50m+.
- Investment management and portfolio oversight. Kliro Capital Investment Management (KCIM) is the investment advisor to the family’s investment company, providing investment strategy services, financial management and oversight of the portfolio of non-direct investment assets.
The Team
Kliro was founded by Warren Scott (Chair), Charles Scott (Investment Director) and James Scott (Investment Manager). The team brings extensive experience in the drinks industry, with a deep understanding of its trends, challenges and opportunities. Kliro will build on that experience in the sector, as well as in other segments, including investment in alternative assets.
